Vintage Weatherby Scope Needed

Postby Superzuki » Sun Mar 18, 2012 10:02 am

I recently bought a J.P. Sauer, MkV, in 300 Wby Mag. it's from 1963. I need to put a (Preferably Weatherby) scope on it. The scope wouldn't have to be from that era, but older than the newest matte finished scopes. A 3 X 9 or 4 X 12 is what I'm looking for.

The newest Weatherby scopes are the Supreme models, which were offered in 3x9. The Premier is the model before that, and it also was offered in 3x9. So, for a Weatherby scope, those are the only two choices. No Weatherby scope has been made in 4x12.

Actually there is another choice besides the Premier and Supreme. I have a Weatherby Variable 2.75-10, German made by Hertl and Reuss in excellent condition including original lens caps. Also have period Redfield mount. It came on a 1969 Sauer built MK V Deluxe.Drop me a PM if interested.
Thanks
